New York City is a popular destination that attracts tourists every year. Most people concentrate on the main attractions and more famous spots that New York City has to offer, but the city is full of secrets and secluded spots that are worth seeing.

  1. The Berlin Wall in Manhattan

A rather unexpected site in Manhattan is the scattered remnants of the Berlin Wall that was demolished in 1989. You’ll find 5 sections of it in NYC: one at Battery Park, one in the UN plaza, one in a lobby on Madison Avenue, one at the Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum, and one at Times Square in Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum.

  1. JFK’s Terminal 3

Known as “the flying saucer”, JFK’s Terminal 3 was once home to the Pan Am Worldport. Built by Pan American World Airways in 1960 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, it got its nickname due to the round building’s circular roof, and from when it hosted Boeing 747’s starting in 1971. It is a symbol of aviation that today has been completely renewed and remodeled.
