History: Whether you are a history buff or not, you will definitely be drawn to it as you cruise along the castles and cathedrals, Roman ruins and ancient walls.

Stunning islands: As you cruise along, you will come upon mind-boggling islands cropping up from the blue Adriatic sea adding a whole new meaning to the word “mind-boggling”. Discover some “hidden” spots and well as some waterfalls.

Although Croatia has many cruises and many stunning routes for you to choose from, here are a few that might help you make your decision.

1. Dubrovnik – Dubrovnik 

This week-long cruise starts and ends at Dubrovnik (a city on the Adriatic coast in southern Croatia)and is one of the most popular routes – interesting stops include Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo and Pučišća, the village of the stone sculpture. Other interesting stops and activities include sailing into Cetina River Canyon, visit Diocletian’s Palace and stop in Bol for a swim at the Golden Horn.

2. Split – Split 

The second most popular route starts and ends at Split and includes stops such as Krka National Park, Šibenik historical center and Zadar historical center.  The highlights include a stop at Dugi Otok, a tourist town surrounded by hills and bays and Kornati National Park. On this cruise you also get to see the famous Stari Grad Field.

3. Split – Dubrovnik cruising route
