On my way back from Pyongyang on the train to Beijing, I was met with many moving scenes at the railway station that I discreetly managed to capture on video. As you will see in the video below, which is not quite a professionally shot one, but it gives you the idea.

Discreetly, I say, because taking pictures or videos of locals is an absolute no -no here.

In contrast to what I saw in the places I was shown in DPRK, the emotions seen at the train station were real.

I have read in many reports that many women leave their country to be companions/partners of rich Chinese and do not come home for many years. On my own accord, I don’t know if it is true.
