Small towns that I really liked
Endless natural beauty, small stores filled to the roof with wares, worn out buildings, charming cottages, clean streets, sidewalk cafes…old libraries, the only cinema theater…nothing brings a smile like an small town does!
Peacock sighting in Dubai
In Dubai, it is common to see these amazingly colourful and elegant birds – be it in villas or hotel gardens. But if you really want “personal” time with these birds, head to Zabeel Palace, Dubai. You will find them walking about, cool as can be, and even put up a show for you if you wait long enough!
Khassab, Oman
The road that takes you to Khassab is interesting. The sea runs along on the left and high mountains stand firm on the right and the only way you can go is ‘ahead’.
Why Kep is a delightful seaside town worthy of visit
Kep, a tiny sea-side town in Cambodia, once ruled by the French is often overlooked by tourists, because, apart from the lazy white beaches, Rabbit Island, an abandoned (or haunted) Bokor Palace and Hotel in Kampot, some caves, Kep National Park and pepper plantations – there is not much to hold a tourists attraction.
