By no means, travel to DPRK is a pleasure trip – if anything, it is full of contradictions and a little bit of stress from the constant “monitoring” and it will challenge your very idea of life and the world in general.
There are no gods in North Korea
But, no matter what the media portrays, there is an “everyday” face here too – regular people enjoying a moment off –

Let me add here that taking pictures of local people is NOT encouraged. Your guides will tell you that the “innocent locals are afraid of the camera” – I have no idea if that is true – but that’s the reality we live with.
