Marrybrown | Awesome fast food

There are many reasons why I like this Malaysian fast food restaurant –  and the top of the list being its delicious,  localized and exotic meals – namely the ‘Currylicious’. Something I always look forward to eating. What makes it even more delightful is that it comes with “pappadoms and achar” which really isn’t quite the achar (Indian pickle) that one is used to, but it makes the experience delightful.

In Dubai, there are several Marrybrown outlets, including at the Dubai International Airport Terminal 1 (Departure Food Court), which happens to be my favourite place.

Of course, you don’t go to a a fastfood joint and expect a five -star treatment but in terms of quick service, Marrybrown doesn’t disappoint. I’d bet on this joint every time, in fact it sort of fulfills every need – Asian and Western (remember the fish and chips & currylicious?) – Yeah, that’s the scope of the menu you find here.

Among the other favourites dishes here are –

Fish and chips, Shrimps and fish (pic above), mashed potato, potato wedges and their combos. I’d even bet on the coleslaw! The chicken is friend just right and the pieces are just right! If you dining as a group try their “jumbo meal” – it is definite

The time taken to serve: 7 minutes or less!! Never fails.
